Today I had the opportunity to sit down and have a yarn with my old school friend Jahmayne. We talked about Indigenous culture and what it was like for Jahmayne navigating his childhood and education experiences as a proud Yuggera man. Jahmayne also shared with us his vision for his bee keeping business he started with his mate in 2020 which has grown exponentially over the last three years. We also spoke a little bit about the upcoming referendum and the importance of having Indigenous peoples properly represented within our government systems.
