Today's episode is a solo one where I give a little bit of insight into a theory I came across in my teaching studies that I believe helped me to better understand myself and some of my own strengths. Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences argues that individuals possess intelligences from distinct areas to varying degrees. These nine area of intelligences are;
linguistic,
logical-mathematical,
spatial,
musical,
bodily-kinesthetic,
interpersonal,
intrapersonal,
naturalistic,
existential.
I enjoyed re-taking the multiple intelligences test after many years since the first time I did, and I share and analyse my results in the episode. I hope you enjoy listening!If you would like to take the test you can access it at Multiple Intelligences Test (idrlabs.com)

Today I had the opportunity to speak with my lovely friend Melissa all about dream therapy and her work in the dream space! I reached out to Mel just over six months ago now when I started having dreams that were really vivid, consistent and confusing for me that I couldn't make sense of. I saw an advertisement for a dream therapy workshop and when I read Melissa's name, I knew I had come across her previously through following her and her husband Sam's personal and group fitness business on socials. Mel has been working with me, guiding me through the dream space and supporting me to interpret my dreams ever since! We spoke all about dream therapy, the lightning dreamwork process Mel uses to help her clients interpret their dreams, and why everyone should consider interpreting their own dreams and engaging with dream therapy. It was an absolute honour and pleasure to speak with Mel about her work in the dream space and to be able to reflect on the profound impact dream therapy has had on me and my own personal development. We really hope you enjoy the episode! If you would like to stay connected to Melissa or perhaps begin engaging in dream therapy yourself you can find her at;Instagram - Melissa || Dream Teacher (@dream__hub) • Instagram photos and videosWebsite - Learn how to understand your dreams to better your life! – Dream HubPodcast - The Dream Hub Podcast | Podcast on SpotifyYouTube - Dream Hub - YouTube

Today I had the opportunity to catch up with my beautiful friend Alanah who I met a number of years ago when we were both educators at our previous workplace. Alanah is a teacher who moved rurally to the small country town of Mt Isa back in 2020 to kick-start her teaching career. We spoke about her experience of packing up her life and moving rurally to pursue her career. Alanah shared a little bit about what it was like teaching as a new graduate in a small country town. We also spoke about her upcoming travel plans and where her teaching career might take her! It was a pleasure to speak with Alanah and like many dedicated teachers, she has a huge heart for our future generations! We hope you enjoy the episode! If you would like to keep up with Alanah's travel journey and her podcast with her friend Brit all about the not so serious parts of life you can find her at; Alanah McDonnell (@alanah.mcdonnell) • Instagram photos and videos It’s Just Not That Serious (@justnotthatserious) • Instagram photos and videos

Today I had the opportunity to sit down and have a yarn with my old school friend Jahmayne. We talked about Indigenous culture and what it was like for Jahmayne navigating his childhood and education experiences as a proud Yuggera man. Jahmayne also shared with us his vision for his bee keeping business he started with his mate in 2020 which has grown exponentially over the last three years. We also spoke a little bit about the upcoming referendum and the importance of having Indigenous peoples properly represented within our government systems. We hope you enjoy the episode! If you would like to stay connected with Jahmayne you can follow all things bees-ness on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/territory_bees/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TerritoryBees
